Congrats to Ryan Braun and Prince Fielder!

Prince Fielder, Brewer's 1st base, has won the National Leagues Hank Aaron award for outstanding offensive player. He received 16% of the votes, kudos to him. I am sure he would rather be playing in the World Series right now, but he still has to be proud of this honor. A-Rod won the spot in the American League.
Kudos also go to Ryan Braun, who won the players choice award for the National League's Rookie of the year. Braun was drafted by the Brewers in 2005, and made his debut in the Majors in May. He had 34 runs and a .634 batting average. And he is good looking to boot!
Great Job Prince and Ryan!

Koren Robinson Returns to the Packers!

After a 1 year suspension, Wide Receiver Koren Robinson was able to return to Green Bay, and will be playing against the Denver Broncos on Monday night. This could be very exciting news, and I have picked him up for my fantasy football team to replace Javon Walker.
In 2005, Robinson received pro bowl honors as a kick returner while playing for the Minnesota Vikings. He led the NFC and ranked 5th in the NFL with his 26 yard average.
Last year with the Packers, Robinson had 89 yards receiving with 7 carries and 253 return yards with 12 returns.
Koren Robinson's return could be great for the Packers!

Dedication

This blog is dedicated to the Greatest State, Wisconsin, and its sports teams. (Okay, so maybe Wisconsin is not the greatest, but it is pretty damn good, and we have awesome fans!)
So, I will be talking Packers. Where else do fans put large blocks of cheese on their heads???
And the Badgers! Football, basketball, hockey, etc. They are all good. And you gotta love Bucky. Okay, well, I love Bucky and the UW, they are my Alma mater after all...
Oh, and the Brew Crew is not to be forgotten. (Though it sure would have been nice of them to make the post season...) A team named for the makers of Beer is worth talking about.
Last, but not least, are the Milwaukee Bucks. Not the biggest NBA fan, but they are a part of the Badgerland.

So Cheese Heads, Miller Beer, and Bucky Badger. On Wisconsin!
